A loving father reached out to us with a heartfelt request: his daughter dreamed of a guitarlele that featured a deer, owl, and bird — animals close to her heart. He wanted something thoughtful and magical. We were honored to bring that vision to life.
🪵 From Wood to Wonderland
Once the design was finalized, we passed it on to our in-house artist. This one was different — a departure from the beachy florals or bold colors we often paint. She started with acrylic, our usual medium, but it didn’t fully capture the tone. So she adapted.
A visit to the art shop led to a new direction: blending colored pencils with paint to achieve a softer, more layered storybook effect. It worked — the final artwork now features a watchful owl, a gentle deer, and a quiet blue bird, surrounded by leafy trees that feel straight out of a fairytale.
🎁 The Extra Touch
When the family saw the preview photos, they loved it. And in the spirit of going above and beyond, our artist offered to paint the headstock too — keeping the same natural theme to tie everything together beautifully.
🛠️ Final Steps
This guitarlele is now back in the workshop for the final production process. Soon, it will be polished, strung, and carefully packaged before heading off to its new home — ready to be played, admired, and loved for years to come.
